Oil Prices (Continued)

|Let's Tweet

Lately lots of media outlets have been examining the price of oil trying to make sense why it is so high. Heck, I did my own thinking about it not long ago.

Today I went looking for information on today's oil prices, which pretty much leads to gas going up/down.

I didn't find anything on my custom RSS feed from The Globe & Mail via PEIinfo. But a quick look on The Guardian's website had a link to an article on prices. Out of the entire article, the most important part I found was:

Speculative buying has been cited as a major reason behind oil’s more than doubling its price in a year.

Stop the press! Or not. This has actually be known for a bit as the main source for Oil/gas being priced so high. Everyone is listening to the people who say oil is only going higher and no one is listening to those who say oil has to drop soon.
