Earlier this week I went out to purchase a new keyboard as my old one was no longer working. I initially purchased a Logitech EX110 Desktop keyboard for $59.95 from Staples. Within 24 hours, it was obvious the keyboard was not meant to be used 8 hours a day. When clicking the left mouse button it started to make a really annoying sound on top of the normal mouse button click.
Twenty-four hours later I was back at Staples thinking that it may just be a problem with the specific keyboard. I returned the keyboard, got $20 back, and receive another one. I got the $20 back because the keyboard was now on sale for $20 cheaper.
I tried this keyboard out for 48 hours and the same problem came up. There was an annoying sound every few times I left clicked which was above and beyond the normal click.
I took that keyboard back this morning and said its time to get a different one.
So, today I went to Staples and purchased a Microsoft Optical Desktop 1000 for $59.53 and so far after 2 hours use, I am satisfied. There is no annoying sound after clicking like with the Logitech EX110 and the keyboard feels much better to use.
