If you haven't heard by now, you're probably not from Charlottetown or you're not in the loop but Maid Marian's went up in flames tonight, as did the Sherwood Drug Mart. A lot of photos have been posted online with many more on Facebook!
My friend Andrew got some video of the horrific fire and apparently the fire did not start from within the kitchen as someone came into the Kitchen at Maid Marians and started yelling, "get the hell out of the building".
As I checked my Facebook last, there was numerous people putting comments in their status updates on the Maid Marians fire! And while looking at all the photos, make note of the amount of people who are also in the photo. That tells you something about the Maid Marians customer base.
Let's hope they decide to rebuild and this may give them a chance to rebuild a bigger restaurant!
