The old Tweel's Convenience/Gift store is getting a make over it appears. Hopefully, they are planning on putting a new business in here instead of just fixing it up and leaving it looking like a poorly maintained building. Work is even going on inside the building. As I was walking by I noticed it looked like they were doing work on the inside as well.
While the city has not done anything yet about vacant buildings, if they make changes to the tax rates on vacant buildings, I am sure we will see a lot more improvements like they are doing to this building.
I heard they may be redoing them into condo's, our cities amount of condo's are increasing majorly, but that's the rumor and not actually confirmed.
