I've always been interested in the local specials from our Islands different restaurants as I tend to forget what is available on what days therefore I decided to build a system that would show what is on special today.
The great thing about the restaurant specials section is that it shows all applicable specials of today on one page. Therefore instead of going to multiple pages to figure out what the specials are, I've made it easier.
Add in my favorite restaurants and its also a reminder service. However I identified this would be a service others would use and created it as an addon of PEIinfo.
Add in the good amount of traffic PEIinfo receives and the restaurant owners will enjoy the service too!
Eventually the plan is to offer a daily rss feed of the different options available and a rss feed and a basic website for each restaurant. This will make things easier for those who want to keep track of certain restaurants.
