If your using AVG Anti-Virus 8.0 (Free) you may receive the error "A .bin file is missing". To fix this, download this file from AVG. Then go into AVG's update manager, then go to tools, then update from directory.
Select the directory you save the previously downloaded file to and voila. Problem solved.
It seems AVG Anti-Virus had some problems with their recent updates that is affecting many users.
If you don't use AVG Anti-Virus, get it!
