If you are a retailer, have no website with product information, today is going to be a slow day for you in terms of sales if you are in the Charlottetown area.
Currently, Charlottetown is under a wind warning, the winter storm warning was removed about an hour ago. The difference is apparently there is no snow coming down, its just snow being pushed around.
For the Islanders that decide not to shop today, they will probably be online (computer/internet providing) at some point throughout the day instead of out shopping for Christmas (assuming they aren't already ready).
For some of our clients who have e-commerce websites, today will be a normal busy today. Even though their store front appears to be extremely slow, their web orders are needing fulfillment. The retail staff will help out with the web side of the business but all that work will depend on if the delivery truck arrives.
The good news? Tomorrow they won't be swamped completing orders for two days with only the normal staff.
